Empowering Through Mentorship: Stakeholders Speak Up

The Online Validation Workshop brought together almost 30 stakeholders, representing universities and non-profit organizations across Europe to discuss student mentoring as a tool for international impact and to state their support for the methodology of the “Bridges by Mentors” projects.

Here is what the stakeholders shared:

“Mentoring is a universal tool for integration and for everything.”

“The uniqueness of this program is that it gives international students the power to be mentors—not just mentees.”

“We emphasize the importance of working closely with regional stakeholders… and authoritative figures to advocate for the mentoring program.”

“The structure and content are clear, comprehensive, and adjustable—encouraging fun, creativity, and real learning.”

“We should clearly state the mentees’ benefits—this is critical.”

“Recognition of mentors is very important. Consider certification or academic credit.”
