Hi everyone! My name is Federica, International Relationship Manager at ACEEU, and I had the opportunity to serve as one of the expert reviewers for the first official draft of the Bridges by Mentors Service Delivery Manual.
The Manual is an extremely useful tool to guide higher education institutions through each stage of developing a successful mentoring program. What stood out to me was the manual’s comprehensive and practical approach. I especially appreciated the inclusion of diploma supplements and digital badges, which will offer meaningful recognition for both mentors and mentees.
Mentoring is a powerful tool. It goes beyond students supporting one another, rather it enables growing together, and building deep lasting connections. What makes Bridges by Mentors even more impactful is its strong emphasis on inclusivity and awareness by connecting international mentors with local youth.
As a former international student and current expat in Germany, I can see the greater impact this project will have in communities and higher education institutions alike contributing to more inclusive and engaged societies.
